BAZ EDMONDSON

VOCALS // KEYS // GUITAR

An old-school rocker at heart, Baz can be seen posing as vocalist ‘Myles Kennedy’ in tribute acts ‘Altered Bridge’ (Europe’s only tribute to US rock band, Alter Bridge) and ‘Slash & Myles UK’ (a tribute to the music of Guns N’ Roses axeman, Slash). Both acts have seen Baz perform at hundreds of legendary venues and festivals to audiences all over the UK. Between performing as a solo artist and running The Benedicts, Baz has studied the voice under the stewardship of industry heavyweights Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Chris Johnson (The Naked Vocalist) and Katarina Holmberg (Tigerlight), recently graduating from the prestigious ‘Voice College’ in London. He has shared stages with acts such as Funeral For A Friend, Bury Tomorrow, Deaf Havana, and performed alongside artists such as Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Pete Friesen (ex-Alex Cooper) and Justin Hawkins (The Darkness).

JACK PEARSON

BASS // VOCALS

Shortly after graduating from Brighton MET and following the conclusion of a country-wide UK tour with his band, Jack continued to pursue a career within the music industry by studying at the famed Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where he counted Phil Mann as his mentor. The move to the big city offered Jack no shortage of performing opportunities, and he quickly became a regular on stages at famous venues across London and further afield, most notably Concorde 2, The Roundhouse and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Prior to joining The Benedicts in late 2018, Jack successfully auditioned to join the inhouse band on a number of international cruise ships, including P&O and Fred Olsen, and was able to combine his love for performing with that of travelling the world and experiencing diverse cultures.

JAMES GRAY

DRUMS // VOCALS

A cruise-ship veteran, James has been a long-serving member of the resident band for numerous cruise-lines, adding such companies as Tallink, Fred Olsen, P&O and DFDS to his ever expanding résumé. Years sailing the seven seas has allowed him to see the world whilst performing alongside some of the industry’s most celebrated entertainers. Away from the function band scene, James is a highly skilled and passionate teacher of the drums and lectures at The Rock Project, the UK & Ireland's premier school for children's contemporary music tuition. After successfully graduating from The University of Wolverhampton with a BA(Hons) in Music, he has toured the country as a member of alt-rockers, SkyBurnsRed, performing at many renowned venues alongside a number of established artists, including Orson and Basement Jaxx, in support of the release of their debut album.
